Christina D. Rodriguez is a New York-born Puerto Rican poet and entrepreneur. Living what she calls “The Writer’s Life”, she is the editor of the literary journal Typoetic.us (www.typoetic.us), writes about the sunshine and pitfalls of writing and life in the arts on her blog, The Write Queen (www.thewritequeen.com), and runs Christina Rodriguez Online (www.crodonline.info), where she provides freelance services in branding, web development, and consulting. She is currently working on a few ventures that include starting a tech company for web and mobile applications for writers, a creative writing salon, a non-profit literary arts organization, and starting her own small publishing press.

Her writing has appeared or is forthcoming in: QueensZine, a handful of stones, Daily Love, amphibi.us, High Coup Journal, Train Write, Short, Fast, and Deadly, 50 to 1, fri haiku, rust+moth, Other Rooms Press, Yes, Poetry, The Body Narratives, The Operating System, Tupelo Quarterly and the anthologies, pay attention: a river of stones, Old Hollywood, Skeletons, and A Thing of Beauty Painted By Words as well as various college publications.

After earning degrees from schools under the City University of New York, an Associate of Applied Science in Music Production from Queensborough Community College and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Brooklyn College, Christina is currently residing in Chicago, where she obtained her Master degree in Arts Management at Columbia College Chicago to expand on her emerging business practices in poetry and the arts.

She is a board member of the Chicago Writers Association (www.chicagowrites.org) and has been a member of the advisory board of the #GrowFierce writing community (www.growfierce.com).

Her hope is not to touch millions with the power of one word, but to touch one with the power of a stream of words.
