The Write Queen is the website of New York based Latina writer Christina D. Rodriguez. Through this site and various projects, she is working on making a name for herself in the worlds of poetry and journalism. She has received degrees in Journalism and Music Production and is currently looking to pursue a MFA in Creative Writing. 

She is working on publishing her work and the possibilities of composing a book, while writing The Write Queen blog and helping people build simple portfolio websites. She has written for the Queensborough Communique, NYCityBeat Blog, the Brooklyn Kingsman, NYCityWatch.org, and Examiner.com. Her writing has appeared in QueensZine, a handful of stones, Daily Love, amphibi.us, High Coup Journal, Train Write, Short, Fast, and Deadly, 50 to 1, Fri Haiku, rust + moth, and Yes, Poetry.
