As a part of my 2011 writing schedule, I planned small, two week challenges in between my month long challenges. The first one is Haiku Madness where I will be writing haikus from March 7 - 20. So here goes the first haiku (though if I get the chance, I might write multiple ones in a day). the silence between us outweighs the noise. i can't recall survival. I believe in promoting greatness when I see it. So coming across Chase Greatness aka Clifford Drouillard during my late night Facebook sessions is a treat. Cliff is a fellow BC Poetry Club member (back when I went) that I know. He is a great poet. While this is a little rough around the edges, this is a diamond in the rough and I know that Cliff will be bringing more greatness into the poetry world. Check out his video. You can follow my blog on the site "Bloglovin." I am going to put a banner on the sidebar in a little while.
Hey guys, In the excitement of moving to a new server, I did not mention that I would be published in a book! As many of you know, I participated in a month long challenge at a river of stones via my blog. At the end, they asked us to send ten of our favorite stones and they would include one or more in the book. Well I made it! And it came out yesterday. You can buy it at Lulu.com and pretty soon on Amazon.com. It is available in hardcover, paperback, and as a digital download. So you should buy the book, read some great small stones, then look for me on page 98. It's called "Snack". You can preview the book and buy it through this preview doohickey below. |
